Stop HARMFUL Changes to YOUR FCCU Debit Card

The US Senate passed its version of the Financial Service Reform. The Senate bill has a provision that calls for
the federal government to dictate the feesmerchants pay for the convenience of accepting your debitcard. This provision could force FCCU to no longer offer debit cards. We are asking you to contact your member
of Congress to stress that this provision should be dropped from the financial reform bill.

The bill would:
Ÿ Force credit unions to charge fees for card use or cancel debit card programs altogether!
Ÿ Allow merchants to deny debit cards for payment.
Ÿ Set minimum and maximum transaction amounts.
Ÿ Pass merchant processing fees onto credit union members!

Please call  your member of Congress or their staff member
(listed below) and tell them the following:

Please tell them you are calling about the Interchange Fee Amendment to the Financial Reform bill. State that this amendment would negatively affect credit unions and urge the Congressman to convince his or her colleagues on the conference committee to remove the Interchange Amendment from the Financial Services Reform bill.
